Be kind to yourself

Put Yourself First – Yes, do it, stop ignoring who you are and give yourself that extra attention.

Stop comparing yourself to others – It is important to stop this now, you are unique, and nobody is better than you. You are not unworthy of being.

Change Those Limiting Thoughts – It is important and never underestimate the power of thought. When those worthless thoughts enter your mind, do not believe them, rather let it go and remember who you are. Stay positive.

Practice Compassion – Accept when you have made a mistake and do not punish yourself for not being perfect. Bring light into the darkness and be compassionate toward yourself. You deserve to have love and joy, remember you will not receive that from others until you give it to yourself.
Just love yourself and be kind.

"Be kind to others, so that you may learn the secret art of being kind to yourself." ~Paramahansa Yogananda~

“Be gentle first with yourself if you wish to be gentle with others.” ~Lama Yeshe

Among 7 billion human beings, everyone has the potential for good [qualities]. This is the most precious thing. If you keep affection, a sense of concern for others’ well being, that’s the ultimate source of satisfaction. That brings peace of mind. There is a Tibetan saying: When things are difficult, then let yourself be happy.’ Otherwise, if happiness is relying on others or the environment or your surroundings, it’s not possible. Like an ocean, the waves always go like that but underneath, it always remains calm. So we have the ability as well. On an intellectual level, we may see things as desperate, difficult. But underneath, at the emotional level, you can keep calm.”

~ The Dalai Lama ~
