The ability to divide and conquer is not a new counter
insurgency tactic or psychological warfare strategy. However it seems to be the
most effective weapon that's used on the citizens of the United States of
America. Achieving unity among a nation of 325 million people seems like an
impossible task and its unfortunate that the universal reach of social media is
being used to systematically destroy our nation rather than being used as a
tool to heal it.
Anyone can be irresponsible in their use of words or language
that others may find offensive and demeaning. It's obvious that mainstream and
social media has become the favorite tools of reckless behavior when the
underlying agenda is to turn people against each other.
So where do we draw the line in making sure we're all saying
what's right?
Our country has endured so much self-inflicted damage in the
past decade, much of which is being perpetrated by the "semantics wolves
in sheep's clothing." Here are 10 examples of psychological warfare use of
language that everyone should be careful not to allow you or your family to
fall victim to:
1. Why I Choose My Kids Over My Husband.
2. Why Friends Make Moms Happier Than Husbands.
3. Dear White People.
4. Transgender.
5. Twelve Years a Slave.
6. Why Black People Can't Be Racist.
7. Black Lives Matter.
8. Make America Great Again.
9. White Cop Kills Unarmed Black Man.
10. Gender Equality.
2. Why Friends Make Moms Happier Than Husbands.
3. Dear White People.
4. Transgender.
5. Twelve Years a Slave.
6. Why Black People Can't Be Racist.
7. Black Lives Matter.
8. Make America Great Again.
9. White Cop Kills Unarmed Black Man.
10. Gender Equality.
This type of "play on words" is being strategically
used to manipulate public opinion and undermine our country's need for unity
based on mutual respect and humility. As long as "We the people," in
American society continue to show support for these "messages of mass
destruction" the psychological dam of division will continue to be
reinforced.
Isn't everyone entitled to their own opinion?
Yes. Please notice that the question did not contain the
words "his or her." Unfortunately, we have all been introduced to
prejudices, discrimination, and rivalries since early childhood. The select
choice of words can be used just like a "magician's spell" to conjure
up a variety of emotional spirits. Just like elements on the periodic table -
words can be combined to create powerful formulas of dynamic mental influence
on peoples thoughts and actions. I'm sure the literary world of esteemed
authors, journalist, and publishers are keen on why this is strategically and
systematically implemented in mainstream media through-out the entire world.
Take heed that you be neither deceived nor distracted by
these ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing!
