For R120, a child gets a hot afternoon meal every weekday for a week.
The afternoon session is the one that catches kids like Gogo Precious's great-grandchildren — the gap between the school day ending and a parent or guardian getting home.
It's smaller than our main lunch programme, run out of the community hall by two volunteers, but it closes a real gap for the families who rely on it.
