Two years ago, Tumi was collecting food parcels from us. Today, she manages our packing team.
When Tumi first came to us, she was supporting her two children on irregular casual work. She started volunteering on Saturdays to learn new skills and stay connected to the community.
Her reliability and eye for logistics were hard to miss, and when a coordinator role opened up, she was the clear choice.
She now manages the same packing line she once stood in as a recipient. Her story isn't the exception we point to — it's the outcome our programmes are built to create.
