A grateful dog has more worth than an ungrateful man

All happy people are grateful. Ungrateful people cannot be happy. We tend to think that being unhappy leads people to complain, but it's truer to say that complaining leads to people becoming unhappy. Unknown

Having to do everything and nobody does nothing is irritating. Being unappreciated is irritating. Ungrateful people are irritating.

People are so ungrateful and inconsiderate. It just irritates me cause I don't mind doing favors but I hate being taken for granted.

As you get older and wiser you realize that when people are given anything without having to earn it (unless they are physically or mentally utterly incapable of earning anything), they become ungrateful and lazy. They also become less happy. Dennis Prager

Does not the gratitude of the dog put to shame any man who is ungrateful to his benefactors? Saint Basil

According to GNYC.org, there is a practical approach, a clinical approach and a Biblical approach to dealing with ungrateful people and other types of "users and abusers." When taking the practical approach, a person is urged to be on guard and make light of public attacks.

The clinical approach emphasizes healing through positive rational thinking, improving self-confidence and reframing situations. Reframing situations in regards to ungrateful people means finding ways to change negative thinking into positive thinking. The Biblical approach emphasizes addressing the issues with people in person according to Matthew 18:15 and bringing others to confront a person if the person refuses to listen, according to GNYC.org.

Perhaps its best to
1.  Confront
2. Stop giving
3. Walk away
