3 Brief And Bizarre Burglary Stories

Today I want to share with you 3 brief and bizarre burglary stories. These stories are according to safe residence magazine.

#1 Last summer, an Oklahoma City resident had the surprise of her life when she walked in her house to find a man wearing her slippers and cooking pizza, for his two daughters, in her own house. Her fright and confusion did not stop the intruder from extending some hospitality towards her because he gladly welcomed her into the house. She soon called the police and when they arrived, the intruder insisted to the police that it was his home and became aggressive to the police when they tried to remove him. In the end, his was brought to justice and the local authorities said that he was delusional. Unfortunately, his daughters were put in protective custody.

#2 Two years ago, a couple from New Hampshire discovered a man naked from the waist down in their living room. The intruder was drunk and had nothing on but a t-shirt. Desperate to get rid of the intruder, the boyfriend ran downstairs to get the bat out of the basement. The situation was incredibly scary because the couple had their 3 year old and 5 month old upstairs while the intruder was in the home. Right after the boyfriend took the bat out of the basement, the intruder fled for his life and the authorities were able to get the intruder an hour later. Luckily, the children and the couple did not get hurt.

#3 This story can not be made up. Earlier this year, a couple of thieves, dressed as foreclosure businessmen, broke into a home, changed the locks and lifted some valuables. The neighbors in the area were smart and immediately called the cops to the scene of the crime. The cops arrived quickly and took the foreclosure imposters to jail. Thankfully, all of the lifted items were returned to the homeowners.

What is the purpose of me telling you these stories?

I want you to be aware of the times that we live in. If you have not done so, I would like you to do some research on home security systems. Home security systems can help lower your home owner's insurance and can help keep intruders away from your loved ones.

Obviously, there are many resources on the internet, but the important thing to take away is the education on the different types of home security systems available to the market and how you can take advantage of the products and services.
