Our finance team closed out July's books this week too — in the interest of full transparency, 91% of every rand donated went directly to food, delivery fuel, and kitchen supplies.
The remaining 9% covered the admin and logistics that keep the operation running.
None of this happens without the five community kitchen leaders who show up at 5am, seven days a week, rain or heat.
They are the ones doing this work. 💖
