Lao-Tzu a philosopher and writer

I do not follow any religion; however, I do search for truth whether from Christianity or Eastern religions. I do consider myself a Christian and believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I have no doubts that Jesus came to redeem us from the law of sin and death. There are wonderful wisdoms from Jesus that can make a difference if we really follow His teachings. I have also embraced the wisdom of other spiritual teachers and have found their work to be profound. I think I am beginning to understand what wisdom really means, although I will never fully comprehend everything.

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44) -

Jesus spent a lot of time explaining the need for love and the message of love was not only for family but the challenging aspect of love.

I came across some of the wisdom given by Laozi and when I tried to understand what he said, it all made sense. It is how we embrace life. I meditated upon some of his words and tried to live by his teachings. It really does make a difference.

Lao-Tzu – facts from the Wikipedia
Laozi (also Lao-Tzu /ˈlaʊˈdzʌ/] or Lao-Tze, Chinese: 老子; pinyin: Lǎozǐ, lit. "Old Master") was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer. He is known as the reputed author of the Tao Te Ching and the founder of philosophical Taoism, and as a deity in religious Taoism and traditional Chinese religions. Although a legendary figure, he is usually dated to around the 6th century BC and reckoned a contemporary of Confucius, but some historians contend that he actually lived during the Warring States period of the 5th or 4th century BC. A central figure in Chinese culture, Laozi is claimed by both the emperors of the Tang dynasty and modern people of the Li surname as a founder of their lineage. Laozi's work has been embraced by various anti-authoritarian movements as well as Chinese Legalism.
