May I be the doctor and the medicine

May I be the doctor and the medicine
And may I be the nurse
For all sick beings in the world
Until everyone is healed
To clear away the pain of thirst and hunger
And during the aeon of famine
May I myself change into food and drink.
May I become an inexhaustible treasure
For those who are poor and destitute;
May I turn into all things they could need
And may these be placed close beside them.

"Be kind to others, so that you may learn the secret art of being kind to yourself." ~Paramahansa Yogananda

You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.
~ Paulo Coelho ~

If light is in your heart, you will find your way home.
~Rumi~

"If we are not happy, if we are not peaceful, we cannot share peace and happiness with others, even those we love, and those who live under the same roof. If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace."
Thich Nhat Hanh,

"When I look up at the night sky, and I know that, yes, we are part of this universe; we are in this universe, but perhaps more important, is that the universe is in us... There's a level of connectivity."
- Neil deGrasse Tyson
