Matthew 5:43-45 You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbour, and hate your enemy. 44 But I say to you,
Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you; 45 That
you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he makes his sun
to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on
the unjust. (RKJNT)
Psalms 139:21-22 Do not I
hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that
rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them
mine enemies. (KJV)
Love is the key
In Matthew 5:43 Jesus makes reference to Psalms
139:21-22. It may not be easy to love your enemies, but Jesus tells us
to do so. The love through the Holy Spirit makes it possible.
Do you ever think of how much you hurt God with
your actions, your words, or your thoughts? Remember, He sees all, hears
all and knows all. Yet, He loves us and wants the best for us.
Let’s practice loving our haters, I am not telling
anyone to allow / accept physical abuse. Take a little time to read the
scriptures in this short bible study to understand what I am saying.
Love to love
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is never tired of waiting; love is kind; love has no envy; love has no high opinion of itself, love has no pride; 5 Love’s ways
are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made
angry, it takes no account of evil; 6 It takes no pleasure in
wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true;
7 Love has the power of undergoing all things,
having faith in all things, hoping all things. 8 Though the prophet’s
word may come to an end, tongues come to nothing, and knowledge have no
more value, love has no end. (BBE)
In closing
How is it possible to love your enemies so much
that you love the hate out of them? You make it impossible for them to
continue to hate you. Apply the love principles shown in 1 Corinthians
13:4-8, if you need help let me know.
Luke 6:35-36 But love your enemies,
and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward shall be
great, and you shall be the children of the Most High: for he is kind
to the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be merciful, as your Father also is merciful. (RKJNT)
I love you with the love of Christ, be blessed my friends ♥ Tim.
