🌸 The Gift of Small Joys

Amara once believed that joy had to be grand — a promotion, a milestone, a breakthrough. But the more she slowed down, the more she noticed the quiet joys that had always been there, waiting.

The warmth of sun on her back as she watered the garden. The way her cat curled into a perfect circle. The first sip of tea after a long day. A stranger’s smile at the market.

She began writing them down — one joy a day, no matter how small. She folded each note and placed it in a glass jar on her windowsill. Over time, the jar filled with color. On hard days, she’d reach in and pull one out. A reminder that even in struggle, joy had visited her.

“Joy,” she wrote, “isn’t something we chase. It’s something we notice.”

Her readers embraced the practice. One called it her “hope jar.” Another said, “I started writing joys with my children. It’s changed how we end our days.”

The jar became more than a container. It was a promise — that even in the quietest seasons, joy still blooms.

🌈 Joy Reflection Prompt

What’s one small joy you noticed today? Write it down. Place it somewhere you’ll see tomorrow.
